Melt 2 oz margerine, add 4 oz plain flour and 1 oz sugar and mix well then knead with your fingers until the mixture binds together. (Its supposed to be a bit dry but id TOO dry add a little milk teaspoon at a time)
Put into an ungreased baking tin and press hard to form into a neat (ish) round about half an inch in thickness. (i use a small round cake tin)
Mark into 6-8 sections; prick with a fork and bake in the centre of a moderate oven (gas mark 4) for about 20 – 30 minutes.
