Easy peasy pancakes – how will you flip yours :D

Perhaps the easiest recipe for pancakes if ever seen or

used… and it work perfectly.

1 mug flour + 1 mug milk (the same mug) + 1 egg —-> and whisk briskly.

Dont worry of it has lumps that wont go…. just sieve it into another bowl.

Pop a little oil or butter in the pan (oil is better as it doesnt burn as quickly) and wait until the pan is dancing hot. One way to test this is to drop little bits of the batter into the hot oil to see if it forms tiny pancakes… if so its ready.

We had ours with honey, but you can add virtually anything to them… how about a sprinkling of sugar and a squeeze of lemon, maple syrup, icecream, chocolate sauce/ spread, yoghurt or fromage frais(or quark if you dont want to add more calories to it), fresh/ dried or cooked fruit…. OR YOU CAN EAT A SAVOURY VERSION, what about cheese…yummm cream cheese and chives, or do one of Master N’s favourites and make a pizza pancake wrap with some tomato puree (or fresh tomatoes or tinned) some ham and a sprinkling of cheddar cheese… the possibilities are endless 😀 …Easy!

  1. Not only are the possibilities endless, so is my capacity for eating pancakes. I could try all of the above and come back for more – except that the rations wouldn’t stretch that far. Great simple recipe – thanks.

    • Yummm i had mine with maple syrup and lemon….. next year im so going for a little vanilla icecream….. maybe i can convince one of the kids that a stack of lil pancakes is better than birthday cake… hmmmm.

  2. Cool blog! Is your theme custom made or did you download it from somewhere? A design like yours with a few simple tweeks would really make my blog shine. Please let me know where you got your design. Cheers

  3. Admiring the time and energy you put into your website and detailed information you present. It’s good to come across a blog every once in a while that isn’t the same out of date rehashed information. Wonderful read! I’ve saved your site and I’m including your RSS feeds to my Google account.
