The glorious little 5 minute cake

Master N made these and they were a big hit… the kids loved watching them grow in their little tea cups and of course eating them….. beaten well they are so light and I will defonately be using these for Miss K’s Party in July.

Le cup cake in my NEW silicone moulds Yayyyeeee… just incase you were wondering…. I didnt take this photo at 6 am… the camera is lying!

  • 4 tbsp self raising flour
  • 4 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp cocoa/ hot chocolate
  • 1 egg
  • 3 tbsp milk
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • chocolate… either a grated bar or chocolate chips….. I used a whole bar 😀
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Mix together the dry ingredients, then add the egg. Add the oil, melted butter, vanilla extract and chocolate and stir well pour into either small silicone moulds or microwave prrof cups/ mugs. and microwave for 5 minutes. (may take up to 10 minutes depending on your microwave).

To test if they are cooked through, push a toothpick into the centre. If it comes out clean its ready, if not… back in the microwave. 🙂

  1. This is the right site for anybody who wants to find out about this topic. You realize so much its almost hard to argue with you (not that I actually would want to…HaHa). You certainly put a new spin on a topic that has been written about for decades. Great stuff, just great!
