Inspired by the recent episode of Hairy Dieters we’re going to experiment with some skinnier versions of our favourite and hopefully shave some inches off [<— Joke… you may now laugh].
Tuesday – Shopping day
Lunch: (we’ll be grocery shopping through most of the am… so we may have a cheeky pastie or sausage roll while out and about)
Dinner: Ham, tomato & cheese Pizza (lets see if we can hide some seasonal veg in there somewhere)
Afters/ Baking: Seasonal fruit/ wholemeal bread
Wednesday – A day at home… contemplating better weather.
Lunch: Sandwiches on homemade bread with homemade jam
Dinner: Mince & Kidney ‘skinny’ pies & seasonal local veg
Afters/ Baking: Spotted Dick
Lunch: ‘skinny’ pies… just as good cold
Dinner: Shepard’s pie & seasonal local veg
Afters/ Baking: Teisen lap/ Soda bread
Lunch: Cheesy tortillas
Dinner: Quick & Cod Curry & seasonal local veg
Afters/ Baking: Tea bread
Lunch: Home made jam sandwiches (on home made bread…. OF COURSE)
Dinner: Liver, bacon and onions & seasonal local veg
Afters/ Baking: Swiss roll/ home made bread
Lunch: Eggy bread
Dinner: Beef casserole & seasonal local veg
Afters/ Baking: Brandy snaps (with mock cream if there are enough rations left)
Lunch: Anything that hasn’t been eaten or dedicated to science!
Dinner: Curried vegetable ‘skinny me this’ pasties & seasonal local veg… either in, on or in between!
Afters/ Baking: Gypsy creams/ home made bread, if time and rations left
