Last week we used half the mince for dinner, and so froze the rest… this and some cooked vegetables were the contents of our gorgeous skinny pie this evening RECIPE HERE …. always a winner and great for leftovers. We’ve used this same recipe for pizza base, calzones and pasties in the past… all with GREAT results.
While I had the oven on I also used up the last of the shortcrust pastry in the fridge… they made some gorgeous little star tarts. RECIPE HERE and HERE (for the puff pastry ones… all really easy)
Finally for ACTUAL PUDDING we made an old favourite… Tea Bread… we’re about to tuck into that now with jam and a bit of butter. RECIPE HERE.
